Earthbody Presence

Deepening connection to self, community, and the natural world

Earthbody Presence was founded by Julie Jansen and Morgan Pace Bolton in 2020 to support individuals and groups in cultivating and maintaining presence-based practices. We provide tools to meet the challenges and joys of being human through embodied movement, meditation, and connection to the natural world.  Our practices are guided through a trauma-informed lens with equity and inclusion woven throughout our work. We are primarily based in Portland, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest.

Presence practices allow us to care for our communities,
and for the Earth.

Offerings

Our world is a busy place.  Give yourself time to get quiet, slow down, and allow your internal rhythm to mingle with the rhythms of the natural world. We offer many different ways of connecting to yourself, to community, and to nature.  Our in-person offerings are primarily based in the Pacific Northwest near Portland, Oregon.  We also have opportunities to join virtual workshops and experiences.

  • “I think you are creating something very special and I feel gratitude to be part of the Earthbody Presence community. This was a beautiful way to welcome the Winter solstice and take space for myself to be still and go inward, as well as feel the support and joy of being with others.”

    Sarah

  • "Julie and Morgan genuinely embody what they preach with no pretense. They compliment one another and add their unique trainings and skillset to create and facilitate a safe, easy, supportive, expansive experience for everyone."

    Jana

  • “This retreat was the perfect way to get back in touch with the land, and to feel more embodied! It was a peaceful, beautiful way to spend the afternoon and experience connection.”

    Amanda

  • “I really thought that the entire workshop was so well done. I enjoyed practicing mindful movements and mindful walking (I needed it!). It's really helpful when we practice the techniques after Julie explains/shows them to us. It's important to feel it - so we can emulate it with our own classes.”

  • “The humble simplicity and openness that was offered created an environment that was devoid of any judgment, or even any desire to help or change anyone. This experience is was what I would call total acceptance of who we are - right here, right now.”
