Themes of Nature, Mindfulness, Art, and Community will be woven throughout our days together. Our 2025 camp will be held in Morgan’s shady backyard in SE Portland near SE 74th and Powell. We’ll gather in her beautiful yurt for many of our activities.
Our Earthbody Presence Kids Summer Camps are open to chidren going into grades 1-6.
Register now for July 21st-25th, 2025
Full Day: 9am-3pm $445
Options for half day (9am-noon $235) and extended care ($15/hr) are both available.
We’ll begin our day with circle time and a mindful activity. We’ll share songs and stories in the yurt. In the yard, we’ll explore sit-spots, nature journaling, and mindful bird watching.
Your child will be guided through various art projects that will center Nature and Julie’s experience with process-based art. Through these projects, we’ll learn about our ecosystem and ways we can support the vast web of life.
Our afternoons will be spent exploring a local park and enjoying the walking journey to get there. Kids will have time to be kids and play before heading back to the shady backyard where we will sip tea and have free time to choose activities, and close our day together with a circle once again.

Our Team
Julie and Morgan have over 26 years of teaching experience between the two of them. They will be your child’s guides for their entire camp experience. Miya, Morgan’s 13-year-old daughter, will be a junior camp counselor for her second year in a row.
Julie Jansen is a certified as an Oregon art educator, yoga and mindfulness teacher, and forest therapy guide. She spent 15 years teaching art in public, private, and international schools. Integrating the presence-based practices of movement, nature connection, art, and mindfulness is something she loves to bring to humans of all ages. Currently she teaches movement, mindfulness, and meditation at Portland State University along with co-facilitating the offerings of Earthbody Presence and Mind Move Make.
Morgan Pace Bolton teaches children in her after school activity, Mindful Garden Club at Richmond Elementary School and taught kids yoga and mindfulness previously. Her passion is to introduce kids to the world of mindful being so they can have strong mental health and nervous systems to help navigate the ups and downs of life. Nature connection is just as important to her. She believes if we take the time to learn about our environment; the soil, plants, animals, and interconnected web, we will want to take care of it and protect it. Morgan hopes to play a part in raising the next generation of kind, compassionate leaders who care about themselves, the planet, and each other.
Morgan’s 13-year-old daughter Miya will be our junior counselor once again. Miya is passionate about arts and crafts, creative writing, and her cat Misty . She will be finishing her Middle School career at Mt. Tabor and headed to Grant High School in the Fall where she hopes to pursue dance and photography as well as continue learning Japanese.
Miya is available for after-camp-care at her babysitting rate of $15/hr.
